PhotoWidget+ by Tadashi Atoji offers a seamless and customizable way to display your photos on your device’s home screen, making it easy to celebrate your memories at a glance.

Photo Widget for iOS 8 and later

This app allows you to add your favorite photo as a widget on your iOS device. It also supports the new widgets for iOS 14.

Here are the main features of this app:

Add Photo to Widget: You have three different methods to select the photo for your widget display.
Importing Photos: On the photo list screen, you can sort the photos by long tap and save them to your email or Camera Roll. The app also allows you to save photos directly to your Camera Roll.
Photo Viewer: The app has a built-in photo viewer that supports GIF animations, just like in iOS 11. You can also transfer photos to external apps.
Photo Shooting: You can take photos directly within the app. The saved photos are stored only in this app and new photos will be added to the top left of the list.

By using the settings of features 4 and 1-(a) or (b), you can instantly display the taken photo on the widget.

Note: If a GIF is not animated in preview, it means it is not an animated GIF. Please check how to save the image into photos by saving the animated GIF displayed in Safari with a long tap.
